Visualization Services for a modeling testbed
You can use the Web-based tools on OpenIOOS to preview model output and compare different models. There are two ways to do this...
Network your model output with Web Services
If you store your model output in NetCDF files that comply with the Climate Forecast (CF) conventions, then you can use OOSTethys tools to make the model output available as an OGC-compliant Web service. The Web services can be easily integrated into the 24/7 and retrospectives products available on OpenIOOS. To find out more, Contact Us
Integrate your model into the SCOOP infrastructure
If you use a model that has been previously integrated into the SCOOP infrastructure to Perform Numerical Experiments, then the model output will be automatically registered in the SCOOP catalog and will be accessible on OpenIOOS products, OGC-compliant Web Mapping Services, and national clearinghouses.
